Childhood sweetie

I really should stop reading love stories, Now I want a timothy lol if only I could find as love as pure, with a man who was intelligent.
My relationship status at the moment is in an unhappy place.
He really is a lovely guy, but his temper gets the better of him, he never tells me im beautiful and we argue ALOT.
If I have the courage to chuck him, hes the only 'friend' in my life and yet ill still be alone, id never have the courage to date again, after all ive been with this guy since I was 14 or maybe its hard to get rid of your childehood sweetheart?

yep ive been where you are. i had a fiancee few yrs ago. he had a very bad anger problem and i thought the same as you , i really wanted to dump him but then i thought if i did he was my only 'social life' . i was worried of being all alone.
well in the end i did dump him, and yes i am alone now ( i do still have family) and yes i dont think i got the guts to date for a long while yet but i would rather have this than be with that monster !
