How to play

Starting from the letter M, two teams compete to get to ***8216;their side***8217; of the alphabet by posting words starting with the letter that comes next in the sequence, depending on which team they are on.

Team 1 are attempting to get to the letter A. You are on Team 1 if your current SAUK username begins with an:

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L or M

Team 2 are attempting to get to the letter Z. You are on Team 2 if your current SAUK username begins with an:

N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y or Z

(If your current username begins with a non-alphabetical character, then use the very first alphabetical character that appears in your username as an indication as to which team you are on.)

Once a team has got to their side of the alphabet (A for Team 1 or Z for Team 2), they have won and the game restarts, again from the letter M.

Rules

1. NO double posting or multiple accounts. I like to think no one would take the time out of their day to make a second account in order to cheat on a silly forum game but, y***8217;know, just be a good sport. It***8217;s just a game. :d

2. Words must be at least two letters long and should be regular words you***8217;d find in an English dictionary. No proverbs, prefixes or suffixs, hyphenations, acronyms, dialect words, etc...

3. No skipping letters.

4. Either the poster who reaches their team***8217;s target letter posts a second word beginning with M so that a new round can be started, or the following poster does.

Example

If Team 1 have managed to pull the game over to the letter F, for example, a poster on Team 2 must post a word starting with G, in order to prevent Team 1 getting any closer to their target letter, A. Then, another poster on Team 2 might pull over even closer to their team***8217;s target letter, Z, by posting a word beginning with H. To prevent Team 2 from progressing to their team***8217;s target letter, a poster on Team 1 will have to post a word starting with the letter G, thus bringing the game closer to their own team***8217;s target letter.
