Do you look young for your age?

I really do and I think a lot of people with SA do

I think I'm probably just about right, my voice however sometimes makes me seem younger :P

Haha yeah...Ive gotten some pretty dramatic reactions when ive told people my age in the past. Lol!

Im fine with it, my dad has always looked 10 years young than his real age. So I guess I take after him in that respect.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

I think people's perception of how old they look is very subjective. I think I look my age but have being told different things by different people - some think younger, some my age and some a couple years older - so you really can't go by what others say either as everyone's judgement is different. Then again some people are pillocks and judge age by people's dress sense, hair styles etc... instead of looking at the person's bone structure in the face and skin. Muscle is a good way to judge to, especially when people get beyond 40 and muscle mass decreases.

Stress really ages people and I think a lot of people who suffer from severe anxiety look worn, especially around their eyes.

Yeah I think mine does as well. I put on a deeper voice when trying to come across as older

About right although I fit in perfectly at college around ppl a few years younger than me. They never really figure I'm older than them till I tell them.

Hmm kind of odd this, when I was 13/14 I looked 18+ and could get sold cigarettes and alcohol easily without a fake ID, However now at 32 people think I am 10 years younger, I don't look my age.

With a beard I look older. When clean shaven I look about right.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

Older, although that may be partly down to drinking vodka most days for years

I always get ID'd when I go out so yes I must be young for my age.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

When I was 28 i got asked in a pub if I was old enough - in fact they asked if I was 18 - i looked at them and just said no i am not 18 am a lot older than that.

Now i look a few years younger than I am - i like to think!

I don't think it's something you can judge for youself.

So you tell me what age I look and then I can answer.

Cool barnet for a 28 year old??? (proably a bit younger?)

Beard = about right
No beard = slightly younger

I spent years being mistaken for a teenager, but I think my face is finally starting to show signs of age. I don't *always* get asked for ID these days. Although the other day someone came to the door and asked if my dad was in... it's been 8 years since I moved out of my parents' house.

Covering yourself with the probably ;)

Not that anyone has to worry about offending me - I'm interested what people think either way as I have no clue if I look younger or older than I am.

And yeah I'm old enough to be in a pub

I`m told I do,although age is certainly catching up on me now, which is highly annoying.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

For me, it depends on who I'm with.

Alone, I'm always asked for ID, and people that have spoke to me have assumed I'm anywhere from 13 - 19 years old. If I'm with someone younger (my brother for example), people have I'm assumed I'm his mum - and I'm only 6 years older than him. :headhit:

I'm not very good at guessing people's ages but I'll say 29?

Re: Do you look young for your age?

The kids at work thought I was just a year older than them (16) and I shocked them all when I said I was 22, some of them didn't believe me until I showed them my staff ID. My voice is crap, I sound like 12. >_>

Ahh..well spotted, but my dad always had a very high hairline and my sister started getting grey hair in her early 20's - so not necessarily a good indicator.

I think I'll work out an average tomorrow afternoon and vote based on whatever that works out at.

32 for my guess.

Yeah, I'm not exactly in fashion - or maybe I'm a trend-setter

Not at all, never been ID'ed in my whole life, even when I was underage for drinking !

Re: Do you look young for your age?

Used to look young for my age but grey hair and putting on all that weight has made me ancient, fat, and raddled.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

I look about 5 years younger than I am, maybe 10 years LOL.

As for my voice... I've got a young voice.

Re: Do you look young for your age?

I still get asked for ID every so often and I'm in my late 20s. I used to get asked every time I went into a pub until recently. I think it may be because I'm small framed, and the shyness probably makes me seem younger too.
