Gender:
Age:

I'm Theo - definitely over 50 at 64.

Interests: reading, trying to write, but cannot get away from my own situation, and power walking! Yes, power walking at my grand old age.

Hello everyone,

I'm 38
I'm female,
I'm from the Northwest of England. Well, Lancashire, why didn't I just say Lancashire?!

Interests is hard! I'm a bit depressed at the moment, which affects how much you put into life doesn't it? But I'm interested in music & dance, I have a go at Charleston & Lindyhop now & again. Love folk, like Mumford & Sons. I like to drive & sing, love to sing along to Adele very badly. Like dogs & all animals. Love flowers & want to save the honeybee, I like to grow stuff like sweetpeas & cornflowers. Love the sea & would definately surf if I wasn't so old I can't get up on the surfboard!!

By the way, noticing lots of you are from Scotland, & was wondering......did you move there to be somewhere peaceful, or is there something about Scotland that gives people SA??!

blubs 3rd March 2012 22:09

Re: Over 30 Introduction Thread

well yes, except that proportionatley I'm guessing that percentage per population, there are more here from Scotland than England...though as you can probably see I am no genius, so ignore my deductions, & my idiocy & probably my spelling x

Re: Over 30 Introduction Thread

do you think? Maybe it's worse in big cities, Glasgow, Manchester, London...but mine gets better when I visit Manchester. I live in a tiny village & I love being somewhere where there's a big mix of people & no-one's going to say hello to you because you happen to walk past.

Re: Over 30 Introduction Thread

I see what you mean. It's a relief to be somewhere where I'm not going to bump into a familiar face, but I can see that if you live in a city & you have SA & no-one around you it must be incredibly lonely. We should have SA towns. In fact, everyone that's posted on here seems so interesting & nice we should start an SA town:)

:high5: for liking Mumford and Sons, btw.

Give over! There's nothing cute about Mumford & Son's. I defy you to find another song that talks about rotting when you die! & that's the one I'm having for my funeral....don't want people leaving without remembering I'm rotting in the ground & they'll miss me!
