god the amount of times i've heard this one! particularly from strangers :screams: why do they feel the need to stick their bloody nose in? Most of the time i just smile at them but there have been occasions ive just glared at them. Or worse ive told them that ive just had some bad news and that they should think b4 they speak :d

There are many things wrong with statements like this, first of all it's barely in English (in english it goes something like "Impress that guy over there or I'm going to end up sacking you"), second, all it does is increase stress and make you panic even more when trying to impress. Which makes you feel like you're not impressive. Which causes more stress due to above statement

i had to do this at college but rather than introduce myself i had to introduce the person next to me and give the class some information about them... the horror

Had this last week at a course at work. Safe to say that one sentance took at least 10 years off my life - i'm quite suprised my hair didnt go grey instantly.
