Hello
Hello everyone,
Just saying, well, hello. I'm 33yo and have just recently realised that I suffer from SA. I always figured I was just shy and socially awkward and an introvert etc. I had no idea SA is a literal condition you can be diagnosed for. During another sleepless night I found my way to this forum where I read so many posts and described situations that I could relate with, I'm also thinking now I might have selective mutism. Anyway, I'm not that social, even online, so don't know how much I can actually contribute, or what I'm even doing here. I think finding out other people suffer from afflictions I thought to be so personal and unique is kinda profound, maybe that's what compelled me. Thanks for reading p.s. is swearing allowed? I didn't read the rules, figured most of it would be common sense :tongue1: |

Welcome :)
Swearing is only permitted in the basement, however you can say penis freely. |
Re: Hello
Welcome.
No, social anxiety is very real, and it is more than possible to overcome it. |
