Buying alcohol today
 

This woman looked at my ID for like one whole minute then took a good look at me. Then finally she rung it up and said "no way would I have thought you were 21". And then the cashier beside her said something too about how she had saw me walk into the alcohol cooler.

This happens to me every time I buy from somewhere new and it actually makes me feel great.

I live in America by the way. Turned 21 not even two months ago yet. :beerchug:

^ I don't understand that reaction. I'm 26, and I still get ID'd, I'm going to be very sad when that stops.

I wish I could buy some alcohol and get ID'd. I'd even risk the worst anxiety attack ever infront of a shop full of people for that to happen :laughing:

I used to get snippy about it too. I was last IDd in my late 30s. I'm quite proud of that now :d But that's because of 'think 25' which is a bit mad.

I worked a booze shop and got asked for ID in another branch.

It did used to make me angry sometimes, well more frustrated tbh. It's mostly because I couldn't get ID, I only managed to get my driving license a few years ago :smash:

I was taking mushrooms at 15,..... fook all that ID boollsheet,.

I still get it at 29, don't mind in the rational part of my brain. In the irrational part thought it makes me so anxious which I think makes me look really suspicious.
