Stupid assholes that cancel reminders/recordings on your Sky+ because they want to record a shitty soap opera and while they're watching another shitty soap opera, and then don't even tell you that they've done it.

Going to PIN protect ITV1/2/3 (and the +1 versions) as a revenge!

We have loads of kids riding monkey bikes and mopeds down our street, revving them up like they're on the starting line at Brands Hatch. It's embarrassing.

Every time one screams past I shout: GET A REAL BIKE! (from the safety of my house of course). :tongue1:

^ At college we had ppl showing off and trying stunts with their mopeds, motorbikes and cars every break.

Once people who seemed to be able to drive different cars alot, I heard their parents owned a car shop our something like that, were speeding and missed a student by centimetres, I fact I think the side of the car touched the student.

I hate those things.

OH LOOK AT ME IM DOING 50 MPH* IN A 30 ZONE AND MAKING A LOT OF NOISE IM SO COOL!

* probably as fast as their stupid machines can go

The road I live on is ~1 km long, has a good surface, and doesn't have any speed bumps, so I have to listen to the little shits all the time. There's also a blind, potentially flat-out bend in the road as well, which they never lift off for – there have been so many near misses there (they almost ran over my cousin one time, because they were too busy trying to do a wheelie to look where they were going).

I hope that when they do finally have an accident, it cripples them for life (and no one else gets hurt). People like that shouldn't be allowed on the road.

When I mix 'thank-you' up with 'hello'.

For example:
'Who's next please?'
Me: 'Thank you'

'Here's your change'
Me: 'Hello'

:headwall:

Also, if you get 'thanks' and 'cheers' mixed up so that it comes out "chanks" or something.

This has never happened to me :whistling:

why is it in the movies and tv whenever someone lies down on a bed they have their shoes on? I never wear shoes around the house, let alone my own bed.

When people mis-spell 'lose' as 'loose'. Happens far too often.

People who bring things up only to state that they don't care about it. If you care so little, why bring it up? Makes no sense.

Also when you are listening to a song for the first time with someone who has already heard it, you tell them so and then they still insist on singing along. Now I still don't know what it sounds like, I just know what it sounds like when you warble along to it.

When you say 'hi' or something like that to a shop assistant only to be completely ignored. HAppened to me yesterday in the local coop. I approached the checkout and gave a cheerful HI only to be shot down... 'Do you have a coop card'. This kind of ignorance and rudeness gets me down :screams:

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)

When you watch a film (and record it maybe) and the very second the credits roll, a cheesy announcer comes on and says: "Coming up now it's blah blah blah" and the credits resize to small print and some silly advert for another programme comes on. It can really ruin the moment especially if it's a very emotional film. I love reading the credits, actors, locations and seeing what the songs are if the music was really good.

Another bad one is when adverts come up in the wrong place in films on telly and some of the best jokes or or subtle moments are ruined completely! :smash:

^ Maybe instead of deleting you could just edit them all to say "It's not you, it's me". :)

^ I can. It's interesting, and it's very common on this forum (I can see all the 'post deleted' messages, they're everywhere!). You say it's not because they're personal, so do you have any idea why you do it?

when the toilet gets clogged and i don't know what to do with it

i've only got one more idea, if that doesn't work then the toilet's out of commission. luckily we've got a second bathroom, but it's grody because i don't clean it.

Maybe there should be a rule that you cant delete posts. And if you edit them there shud be a note saying "edited at etc". Or is that me being too much like Adolf?

Then people would be less likely to post at all. Posting here can be scary, it's good that you can remove posts at any time.
