Re: What would you do in this situatio .

I don't really understand the dilemma... probably almost every milk I use overlaps with the next one?

Re: TV programs you're watching?

I finished Baby Reindeer earlier. I thought it was okay, certainly nowhere near as good as the hype (though when is anything?). I found the narration was frequently hand-holding to an annoying...

Re: Mention one thing most people are interested in but you are not.

It's an option, but not a quick or easy one (at least 12-18 months plus however long extra to unpick all my ties here). I think subconsciously I've already started planning for it, so maybe one day.

Re: TV programs you're watching?

I finished this the other day and thought it was great overall, and I usually hate things like this. I was wondering how someone who isn't familiar with the games would enjoy it since quite a lot...

Re: Seeing the GP for Social anxiety

As apprehensive as I was about discussing anxiety and depression with my GP, the times I did it made him go into autopilot mode where it felt like he was talking me through a flowchart in his mind to...

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)

When people "smile" for photos by just opening their mouth very wide.

Re: TV programs you're watching?

Fallout. I've watched the first three episodes and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's good that they created a new story within the world of the games, rather than retelling a plot from the games. I...

Re: Coffee shops - do you prefer independents or chains?

I chose local independent cafes, but I don't know why they would know my name... none I've ever been to have asked what it is so they can write it on a cup, that seems like mostly a Starbucks thing....

Re: TV programs you're watching?

I know it's probably good (but I'm sure I'll never find out) - it just always fell into the category of shows that made me feel sick with boredom and confusion when they were on television when I was...

Re: TV programs you're watching?

Curb Your Enthusiasm finale. It was okay. I'm glad it's all finally over because it hasn't been great in years despite still having good moments here and there. Most of this last episode was probably...

Re: Early Retirement?

A few years ago I took a break from work for about 18 months to concentrate on other things, which I suppose was like having a taste of early retirement. I didn't really enjoy it in the end. Even...

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)

I usually have 0 tabs open on my phone. It's no more than one or two while doing something, and then when I've finished with it I'll close the tabs and the browser app. I can get up to maybe three...

Re: Type what you're thinking about right now (11)

Being sat down doesn't explain the clearly photoshopped sleeves and hair of the kids! It's a very strange photo to release after all the speculation about her abortion Brazilian butt lift...

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)

Thanks. The one on Thursday felt like it went well - I thought it would be awful being grilled by three people, but they were very nice and I'd looked them up before I arrived in order to feel...

Re: TV programs you're watching?

Mr and Mrs Smith - I'm three episodes in and it seems very good so far. I don't usually enjoy things like this, but I'm a big fan of Maya Erskine so that helps.

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)

Very, very anxious. I've got a job interview tomorrow and then another on Friday, and I don't really have any experience of job interviews at all. I've always been self-employed doing work for an...

Re: TV programs you're watching?

Haha, I didn't mind S3! Although I can't really remember anything the plot or the ending now other than it having different timelines, but I'm sure at the time it wasn't too bad?

Re: TV programs you're watching?

I finished True Detective S4. It's amazing how bad it got after such a promising start. Still better than S2 which I couldn't bring myself to finish.

Re: Small things that annoy you (3)

London seems to have moved well beyond the £100-120 a night hotel chain room since the pandemic.

Airbnbs have been creeping up over the last few years too, with the fees added they're often now...

Re: Have you ever been to the circus?

I've never been to one and I don't think I would, I've just never found that kind of thing entertaining at all when I've seen it on television (people swinging around, balancing things, climbing on...

Re: TV programs you're watching?

I think Larry needs to learn that using Susie improves every scene, so she should be in it as much as possible. A Leon and Susie road trip series would be magnificent.

I didn't even realise it was...

Re: What I did today - for small achievements and cheers

I signed up for some friendship "blind date" thing a few weeks ago run by the East/SE Asian women's group I'm in, where they pair local people up with women who have moved here from Hong Kong...
