Tonight I'm having pie and peas. Chips would be nice too but I'm still on the diet.

Re: Requests for moderators' attention

Is it still possible to have my access to The Basement removed? I could do with it to save my sanity after last night. I can't go on seeing stuff like that and not have it affect me negatively.

Re: Wish it would get easier

To get my negative thoughts out of the way first, I don't think social anxiety goes away fully for the majority of us. And efforts in the short term can often feel like they are setting you back.

Re: Do you find self improvement makes you feel more self-conscious?

I think it's quite logical with social anxiety, as it is often self perpetuating when you attempt to address it. Self improvement will mean more focus on the self, meaning more self monitoring in...

Re: TV programs you're watching?

The Bad Batch on Disney (animated series). I'm not much for most Star Wars media but this series has hooked me. Already on Season 2.

Re: What are you eating right now? (2)

I wish I had a way to upvote this a million times. Peanut Butter is concentrated crack and I can't have it in the house. Otherwise the spoon comes out and the jar is demolished in an evening.

Re: Seeking anecdotal successes of losing weight while on meds that cause weight gain

Hey Sky

I think different people will advocate for whatever method worked best for them and gave them the least amount of stress. Weight loss is one of those things that has many ways you...

Re: What are your plans today?

That's a great looking car. Cute and shiny.

My mum's driving over today for lunch. Which means I have to suffer a really hot and noisy cafe she likes.

Re: Have you ever intentionally ignored or avoided someone then felt guilty as hell a

I think pretending you haven't seen each other is ingrained in British society. I know I've done it lots of times and probably to someone else's relief.

Re: What book(s) are you reading at the moment?

"Where the rich own the truth."

Now that's a very incisive statement on modern society.

Sounds a good book!
