Re: Too much office politics..

Office politics are a real headache. I try and stay out them or laugh them off but its virtually impossible to avoid them in some work places.

In some ways I would love to work on my own, or be...

Re: what do you do on your birthday?

My birthday is coming up soon too and I just do pretty much the same thing every year - go out for a meal with the family.

I would be absolutely terrified if someone organised a party for me...

Re: Just a thought....

Humour helps get me through those difficult days sometimes.

Just watching a funny video on YouTube or a sitcom can lift my mood a lot.

Or if out and about trying to crack a joke with someone...

Re: How to deal with "brain fog"?

It would be good if we had some sort of 'brain fog lights' we could turn on and help us switch on just like that :d

But yeah I sometimes struggle to concentrate when listening to someone talk to...

Re: Do you come across other people who you suspect might have SA as well?

This reminds me of a woman I used to work with who always used to sarcastically say to me 'Can you keep the noise down over there?!' Hilarious. Not!! :embarrass: :smash:

Re: Do you come across other people who you suspect might have SA as well?

I honestly didn't know it was that common! :eekpurple

I think the younger teenage sufferers probably find it easier to grow out of as they learn new life experiences. If you are still suffering it...

Do you come across other people who you suspect might have SA as well?

I have worked in the same place for a number of years now and over that time I have come across a few people who I strongly suspect have SA as well.

People that display the same kind of traits as...

Re: Bitter or better

I guess it depends if & who you are comparing yourself to.

If it's someone that's more confident with an active social life then I guess I can sometimes feel bitter. But that's pretty much 99% of...

Re: Parcel at neighbours

I've had to do this a few times and hate it too. I now get my parcels delivered to newsagents or my parents house instead.

I get a lot of couriers knocking on my door asking for me to take parcels...

Re: Catalonia and independence/secession

There was a story a couple of weeks back saying the French might invite Barca to play in Ligue 1 if Spanish FA threw them out of their league. They cited the Monaco example as a reason to invite a...

Re: Being quiet seen as a negative trait

There is a saying 'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt'. Apparently Lincoln or Twain said it.

I've often wondered as an SA sufferer whether this is...

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)

Re: Football Season 2015/16

True Bacca was a class act for them last season but he doesn't seem to have settled in too well at Milan so far. Immobile was a strange signing and then they went and got Llorente from Juve too so...

Re: Football Season 2015/16

He's looking a class act isn't he? And they still have Silva & Aguero to come back.

However if Kevin Gameiro knew how to finish then City wouldn't have won that game.

Re: How is everyone feeling? (31)

I also had a pretty nasty dream last night which I woke up from shaking. I was relieved it was only a dream as it was about one of my worst fears happening :screams:
