Deleting posts
Just a question to the mods on the board.
I am ending my use of sa-uk as 'Innerspace' and am wondering if there is any possibility of all my posts in every room except the SA room being deleted,...

Re: Angry
Of course, it can be incredibly difficult in this situation.
To be an emotional crutch for someone with all these problems is totally draining. Your partner appears reliant on you for just about...

Re: Competitions and Talents
I don't think I've done anything competatively for years. When I did so it was in athletics, but I never lost a single race in all my time, so don't know how I'd feel if I did.
I don't think I...

Re: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Hi Peter,
I would have to say yes to that question.
I used to be an extremely negative thinker who saw the dark side of anything and everything. Reading through CBT stuff has helped me to...

Re: Should I listen to my mother?
I have to agree with cj0hn0. You making your own decision and taking personal responsibility in all this would appear to ba a result in itself... regardless of the outcome.
With regard to your...

Re: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
It depends on whether you are looking for a CBT self-help book or a CBT text book.
The one cj0hn0 mentioned seems to be the standard SA/CBT self-help book, even though I've only just bought it...

Re: Social status and SA
As far as social status is concerned; I don't give a stuff for all that nonsense.
On a personal level though, I know for a fact that I could have done so much more than I have done up til now. I...

I have sympathy with the way he feels, but none for the way he is treating you. He seems to have absolved himself of all personal responsibility and appears content to blame everything on his...

Re: Should I listen to my mother?
In all honesty I have no idea as to what is the best thing for you to do in this situation. There is only one person alive who can know this for sure, and it isn't your mum. It is you.
In life we...

Re: Does Weight Affect Your Sa?
I think my weight doesn't help my confidence much. I tend to feel a lot better when in shape, and I look a lot better too.
The downward spiral for me would go something like this...

I can sort of see what your counsellor is saying. Thing is though, you can be extremely confident in the water but feel like you are drowning in anxiety socially. Being good at one does not mean you...

Re: Posh Spice's new haircut
Good question.
She's a nice looking lady who is not particularly posh, and was eye candy in a dreadful manufactured girl group which only had one reasonably competent vocalist.
She is now...

Re: Posh Spice's new haircut
Don't really care, but I used to think she was attractive before she became stick thin. Much prefer the longer hair though.

Thanks for that. :thumbpur:
I always get the names mixed up. The only one I remember is the one I take myself; escitalopram, otherwise known as Cipralex.
I've never used Seroxat, and it...

I found this part of your post quite telling.

Re: Going to the doc's again
You're welcome, NikNox. ;)
I think it's always worth paying the doctor another visit if you believe that something else can be offered, but if not, it may be a fruitless appointment really.

Re: Going to the doc's again
None of the doctors I've ever had have fobbed me off with pills. In fact, I've had to request meds before the issue of them was even raised.
It's hard to see what more your doctor can do though....
