Re: How is everyone feeling? (27)

Re: Success stories with meds
Yep, Nardil does wonders for many conditions especially SA, depression, OCD. Its been used for schizophrenea when depression is present. Never seen any info about ADHD, tho it does boost dopamine,...

Re: Success stories with meds
You'll get there. You just have to keep on trying. If at all possible, you could ask your doc to refere you to your local Psychopharmocology clinic, if you have one. If you truely have diagnosed ADHD...

Re: Success stories with meds
I never got to try Cymbalta (duloxetine) coz I had already started on MAOIs. It came out whilst I was taking Nardil. That would be a choice I would try tho. Dual Serotonin/noradrenaline Re-uptake...

Re: Success stories with meds
Yea thanks guys. There's a lot of stigma around taking 'mind-altering' medications. Even within the SA community. But I've waited long enough and deserve a break. Plus, it is NOT simply a 'short cut'...

Good point Diana. I guess just because I have SA doesn't necessarily mean I have to hang out with other SA sufferers. Something for me to think about. In fact I am planning to go to a techno club...

Re: Feeling great, but....
Thanks for your input pinkwafer. And you are very correct. But I'm talking a whole group of 12 or more. So out of 12 people none of them wanna hang out with me? That doesn't sound good odds to me....
