Re: No friends feel so lonely

I make a mess of social cues at times.

Re: 40+: How did the concept of everyone using the internet by 2010s seem to you

I kind of preferred the anonymity before the internet age and subsequent development of the mobile phone apps etc. I liked the sense of freedom and being cut off on occasion whereas now nearly...

Re: Worried about losing my new job

I would not overly worry about overpaying the person £10 it's an error and happens from time to time. It also says more about the customer. I've had occasions where the salesperson has given me too...

Re: If you could go back, would you?

RE:- imperfect_perfectionist

Was it a bad thing necessarily to not fit in?

Re: If you could go back, would you?

I also had the issue when going to Uni that I did not fit in which was more down to my own issues than my peers. They seemed like a good bunch and the option for friendships would have been their....

Re: If you could go back, would you?

I really don't know it's such a difficult question to answer without a great amount of thought.
I feel a bit more comfortable now than I have for a long time. I don't particularly care whether...

Maybe a Primary School Teacher.
Within my current employment have had professionals suggest that I should aim higher.
It's not ability on my part it's a reluctance to put myself more out there in...

Re: The Exercise Thread

Re: Do you ever think about anyone from your distant past?

I'm not particularly interested in most people from my distant past. I've moved on and don't give them much thought. At the time people who I thought were friends really were not.
It takes a level...

Re: How do you feel about masks?

I find wearing it a bit intrusive but wear them in places where it's required to do so.
I'm asthmatic and feel a bit uncomfortable with it on but it's a necessary evil.
Most of the time it's only...

Re: Story of my life lol

I've always had the misguided notion that two parties with social anxiety would be unable to meet. It's both a slightly funny and sad thought at the same time.
I'm not trying to cause offence.
