Re: Born this way?

Re: Feeling like an imposter for new job
I think this is common. Impostor syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impostor_syndrome) is a recognised phenomenon and I've definitely felt that way before (quite recently). Similar situation,...

Re: Which OS?
Linux all the way these days. Windows 8 finally got me to switch permanently after dabbling for a few years.
Macs have always rubbed me up the wrong way a bit, not because OS X isn't nice, but...

Re: Random Questions (3)
I don't think it's anything to do with taste, but just because capsaicin (the chemical in chilli peppers that makes them spicy) is an irritant. Try rubbing it into your eyes and genitals. :thumbpur:

Re: Introvert
I'm about the same, except I'd definitely consider myself an introvert. I eventually need some kind of social contact or else I go mad, but I find it tires me out very quickly, even in situations...

Re: The living with others compatibility test
Why don't OkCupid use these as their match questions?
1. Does the toilet paper go over or under the roll? Over. Only freaks use under.
2. Cats? Dogs? Both? Both. Why not?
3. Can you eat...

Re: The North-o-Meter
A surprisingly high 40%. I just guessed at a couple, though, so may have just been (un?)lucky.
Also, gravy actually goes quite well on chips. Preferably served with a pie... with more gravy in it....

Re: Best pringles crisps?
^ Ditto. I don't think eating an entire tube in one sitting can be considered part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Re: For those that wear contact lenses
You can apparently smell your eye burning, too. :d
I'm on the dailies. I was originally on two week lenses, but they never lasted the whole two weeks and always fell apart. The daily ones at least...

Re: House buying
True. And if you don't plan to sell, I don't see any reason to worry about your house's resale price at all. The main thing is the buying price, which I guess is the age old game of trying to time...

Re: House buying
In London? First step is to be insanely rich. Average house price price is over £400K, so you'll be wanting a £100K salary (at least) to get a mortgage on that. There are cheaper parts (usually due...

Re: camden pubs
If you want to have a conversation, don't go somewhere that blares loud music all the time. The World's End and the Black Heart are both extremely loud places, with rock music usually being blasted...
