Re: What keeps you going?

For me, it's the desire to live rather than exist before I finally croak.

It's a little self entitled to expect I deserve some life, but it works (sort of) :spin:

Re: At what age should people stop PC gaming?

Had a stroke so that's reduced (really sadly) what I can handle PC gaming wise, but my age is 43 and it seems silly to restrict with an age barrier, heck if your 90 years old and can project your...

Re: What would make you feel better right now..?

An off button for the anxiety, even 5 minutes will do. Just a little break.

Re: What are you drinking right now?

Aldi peach flavoured water, it was cheap so I gave it a go. Not bad :spin:

Re: Name one thing you'd like to achieve in 2018

Talk with people online, groups rather than one on one (which is even more terrifying!) :smash:

Re: Does not having children (in your 30s plus) bother you?

I don't have much in the way of social ties, but I do compare myself with them (and feel judged) on not having children, but more so not having any desire to have any. Not much to be done, I'm not...

Re: The 30+ what are you thinking right now thread

Called my solicitor to see how a move I'm making is coming along, and she is looking at signing everything up in early January :eekpurple So mildly terrified but hoping the mental health support is...

Hey.

Hi, I'm a returning member. Wasn't too active before, always worried about being judged even on a social forum!

I'm 43, so I've had these mental problems a good amount of time, and just sat there...

Re: What will you be doing in the next 5 minutes?

Making a Hot Chocolate, putting some Baked Potatoes in the oven and playing Crime City, badly.

Re: What are you doing right now? (3)

Getting pleasantly sloshed on mulled wine and deciding whether to play Minecraft or BSG online (before I get too sloshed :d)

Re: skyrim

Compared to Daggerfall (PC user), I'm disappointed by the ever decreasing (sorry, streamlined) skills & magic. The perks stink of dumbed down MMO fluff.

I won't go into the inherited console UI......

Citalopram v Escitalopram?

Is there a big difference?

I've been put on Citalopram 20mg (Friday 16th) by my Doctor, as I've had loads of anxiety related illness.

However, during the consult, I explained that I'd already...

Re: Guilty you can't help other people when you should?

Wow, must be great to be so perfect, especially when you get to piss all over those who are struggling harder than yourself.

Re: Apples or Banana's?

Bananas! Great smoothies! Frozen (allegedly) sex toys. Damn, they good. :dancing_b

Edit. Nothing against apples. Make good cider & (allegedly) sex toys for those with a wider requirement. :spin:

Re: do beta blockers calm your mind

I take 100mg Atenolol for blood pressure, doesn't seem to make a difference with my anxiety. That said, I've no idea if 100mg is a high or low dose.

Ah, the joys of sunny weather, every fu... mor.. *ahem* person in the area, decides to play their music at insanely high levels for hours through the day. Finally finished about an hour ago (10:30pm).

Re: Census 2011

Not the householder, so don't have to worry about it.

I like the idea as a historical record, but I don't trust our Government to carry it out competently.

Re: Peasie spending Review - February 2011

If I was a third as organised as you, my life would have been a lot easier!

That is a lot of milk! I get through (roughly) 8 Litres a month.
