Do you mean that they made it clear from their body language that they weren't interested, or they simply ignored the signals? Because a lot of men have LITERALLY NO CLUE when a woman is sending them signals that the woman may think are obvious. And if there's any doubt at all, a shyer man is likely to assume he's imagining it.
