Could you not just phone up tomorrow and say you want an emergency appointment instead? Maybe you thought you could wait but stuff's got worse? I'm often doing stuff like that when I've garbled/fluffed a first a attempt at sorting something (not saying any garbling/fluffing occurred in your case).
I'm feeling a bit thrilled. I didn't throw the exam I did last month and got the mark I hoped for (but honestly honestly didn't think I'd come close to). It means I just need a 2:2 or above in my final module to get a first overall. Boo-frikkin-ya.
