I used to like the half pence piece and pound notes- the halfpenny was so small it was like toy money and pound notes made me feel I had more money than I did. Mind you even as a child I found it odd that so many things were 49 1/2p or 99 1/2p,and that somehow that halfpence off was supposed to make things so much more enticing.
Also you know you`re getting (or feeling) old when everyone under about 25 seems like another species,or at the very least someone you could have technically given birth to.
I suppose another sign is when you find yourself reminiscing on threads like these!
