I agree with it being situation dependant. I've had a few changes in my life that have been quite challenging and caused my anxiety to reappear. Then I have to deal with being overly self critical when I feel I'm not dealing with things too well. In reality I'm probably coping better than I would when I was younger but it's not always apparent !
