I used the film developing kit I got for Christmas for the first time this afternoon and it was successful!
I'm so happy. It was quite straightforward really, once I'd worked out the order and timings for everything. The roll is hung up drying now so I can't scan it yet, but from holding it up to the light it looks like everything is as it should be.
