My shower daydreams. 50,000 words in to my novel and I had come stuck. I spent days wandering around the house aimlessly, unable to move the plot forward. Then this morning in the shower it came to me. I leapt out of the shower, spraying my cat with a fine mist of leftover moistness and ran to my laptop to write notes. I'm now ten minutes late for work but woohoo! Usually I'm 15 minutes late to work with nothing to show for it.
