Re: What book(s) are you reading at the moment?
A Clash of Kings - George R R Martin
2nd book in the series that comes after Game of Thrones. Very much enjoying it! Really fleshes out the stories of a lot of my favourite characters from the first book. Has an incredibly epic feel to it, feels like it's gradually building up to the shit really hitting the fan.
The authors refusal to bend to fantasy tropes and let the good guys win all the time is incredibly ruthless and refreshing.
