It takes many years of practice to learn to give up and move on hollie, which I would not suggest as something you should aspire to achieve !!
I cant always do it but normally at 6 (I get up at 8:30) I am able to potter around giving my brain the last chance to give me tired signs, 6:30 and I am done trying. Much less than 2 hours and as long as I slept a bit the night before that I am better off just doing stuff to ignore my lack of sleep. I hate to think of the wasted time I have spent trying to sleep.
Dragging "only had 1 hour" around all day is awful, just join up today with yesterday and congratulate yourself on how you did another double-day
If you really need it a double-sleep will come along soon.
ps, I am really sorry to those with serious long term insomnia problems, I know how bad this reads but sometimes, for some, giving themselves a break and removing pressure helps them relax and drop off.
