I tried to forgive.
I tried to forget.
I realised that I had to fight back.
This wasn't a one off violent attack.
It was years of pesistant abuse.
The greed of another person
And ignorance surrounding
Having had a stay in hospital,
Resulted in me losing
More than I ever should
Have had to lose.
