As you may have noticed, the mod team have created a mod account, called
SAUKmod and have recently been trialling its use. The reasons for this are that, in the past, some people have not realised that mod decisions are team ones, wrongly believing that the person who posts up notices of thread removals or who PMs people are the only one to have made the decision. Unfortunately, this has caused occasional and unwarranted grudges and hostility towards individual mods.
Initially, we disabled receiving PMs to this account as it simply wasn’t being checked regularly enough to pick up responses and general queries. However, we have now enabled these again and we will be checking this account daily.
To underscore the fact that we do work as a team, and to ensure that all mods have access to all the relevant history such as previous PMs, we have decided that in future, all mod notices and PMs regarding bans, warnings, edits and thread removals will be done using the SAUKmod account.
You are still free to PM any of the mod team individually regarding any matter however you may receive the response via SAUKmod.
