Re: Collection of SA/self-help book recommendation threads and links to free CBT
Last week I found this book in the library: "Weekend Confidence Coach" by Lynda Field. It's a really helpful and uplifting book.
Inside are many exercises you can do to overcome anxiety and negative thoughts, and how to find your inner strengths and how to feel better. This isn't like othe self-help manuals because this book is quite mystical and tells you to think about all the things you love and how to recognise your inner self.
There's something in the book that inspired me. The book was designed for women.
