so, my petulant little hissy fit aside, i can think of reasons why certain settings might affect the delete key. in some instances, using the delete could be a VERY serious typo
the thing is, it doesn't behave in an intermittent fashion. its not like you press it over and over again, and get different results, as if it was a fault. its more like "oh its not working this evening" and "oh, its started working again this morning" as if it gets switched on and off. you got me?
