^I feel your pain/embarrassment, though my custoemrs are often on hold for 20+ minutes so you get used to it :/ When I first started my job, I once "accidentally" hung up on a customer, as matter how many departments I went through to, no frigger would help.
Luckily, the chances of the same customer calling and getting back through to me were slim, as there are 200+ others taking calls.
