Leaving a work environment where you don’t feel emotionally safe is the right thing to do.

It’s not something anyone should have to put up with, but once it becomes collectively the culture of a place then it can become entrenched and they can’t see it. It’s good to call it out, even if it doesn’t make a difference or makes you unpopular. It’s better to feel like you did something.

Luckily I’ve only ever worked at really nice places!
