went to work for 2 days.

I know it isn't really an achievement, as it's just what people do, but it's been really hard to go.

Also, I'm worn out from it

(apologies to everyone working day in day out wondering why I'm making such a fuss about a few days)

A theatre meet would be cool! Let's see how ice skating goes and maybe it can be the next midlands meet...

On another note, I managed to cook 2 perfect fried eggs this morning. This is a pretty awesome achievement for me as I usually either burn them or end up with some kind of scrambled egg... They tasted so unbelievably good, which I think was due to my being so proud!

Yay! And don't apologise or feel the need to explain yourself on your sense of achievement, jinny, especially if it was hard for you

I changed the chain on my bike for the first time ever, it was quite easy and now I'm going to change my chains fairly regularly.

Unfortunately on this occasion some sprockets on the cassette were worn and I had to put the old chain back on as the new one was slipping (now I need a new cassette).

This week I've completed several activities that made me extremely anxious but they had to be done. I'm proud that I managed okay and anxiety didn't get the better of me.

Two (outbound) phone calls made; think I only fluffed my words on one of them as well so feeling accomplished.

Well done to everyone else on their achievements - it's been nice reading them.

Well, I'm wishing that I wasn't going. A sinking feeling of dread goes with me everywhere I go

My car passed it's MOT retest

Didn't despair too much about having a mini breakdown whilst awkwardly waiting out my time (through the MOT and repairs) walking about a strange town and then retiring to a bench in a cemetery for ... way over an hour!

Cheers, Dears

Well, i wouldn't recommend the place i took it to, Mo, it weren't the best experience. I left it too late, but apparently the best place to take it to is somewhere that ONLY do MOT's - in theory they won't be interested in fiddling you for more work. Do you have a garage that you use already?
