This Forum Is Sloooooooww

In the last few days its been particularly bad between 4:30pm and 5:30pm

and for the last hour..

the server is really slow and sometimes i can't get it to load plus the time is an hour behind for me at the mo

Edit: The time is off again, too. Hah, server, just try to pretend the last hour where you've been AWOL didn't exist! You don't fool ME!

I don't think I'm aware of any site, anywhere on the Internet which suffers from as many 'server issues' as this one. The last few days have been pretty dire, but this has been happening on a semi-regular basis for a long, long time now (at least since 2008). The addition of the 'Donate' button appears not to have achieved anything. I'm glad I haven't used it yet, because if I had, I'd be a bit pissed off to see that my money was pretty much wasted.

In the past, whenever the site ran into server troubles, Anne always kept the members informed about what was wrong, when it would be fixed, etc. I know she's no longer around, but at the moment there seems to be zero communication as to when (or indeed, if) the site will be back to normal. Looking through this thread, people appear to be getting a bit frustrated. Perhaps people would be less annoyed, and a lot more understanding, if the Administrator took the time to communicate, just a little, rather than ignoring this thread completely.
