^^ I remember when I was volunteering at a museum they brought out some letters and documents about local workhouses. Even though knew it was brutal still remember being shocked by some of the details.

On a lighter note I'm eating chippy chips and watching American Gothic.

Having a giggle at old newspapers. The stuff they printed - bastardy, petty disputes etc.. lol I've just been having a laugh at some of my ancestors (women) having a barney in the street (punches thrown), then re starting it in the court room

all over bugger all.

I would look on the parcel delivery as an acting performance. Where the star of the show is none other than the fabulous Dimples and the supporting cast member is the delivery driver. Then when the driver has delivered your parcel, be sure to take a dramatic thespian bow. Ideally when your door is already closed. But then again, who am I to tell the star of the show when to take a bow.

Aye, I love the soundtrack! Tbf with the occasional hodown aside I don't think his musical talent was gonna get much notice

I've found a new way to be antisocial. Sat in Wetherspoons with an app on my phone that allows me to order drinks to my table without going to the bar.
Just waiting on a cocktail and some shots.

^^It's great. I just had a lasagne paid on PayPal and only had to say thank you to the waiter. 10 out of 10 app. Would recommend.
Only downside is it's a little too easy to order a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream.

I'm waiting around for towels. Spent yesterday in Great Yarmouth and today in Norwich. I love Norwich which has about 30 vegan restaurants (perhaps an exaggeration but not far off) so I can go anywhere to eat. In Great Yarmouth all there is to eat is chips. But my hotel room there was beautiful and the air was lovely. This hotel is a bit meh by comparison and on a noisy road. Got here and there are no towels so I had to phone the owner so they could bring us some.
Plus I got my period so that bled all over my day. Although I did get a beautiful vintage dress which I'll wear tomorrow for my bday.
