My mother was saying I should get it because she is my next of kin and she couldn't afford my funeral if anything happened to me before she dies.

I'd probably get it if I had anyone depending on me. The question is, would you tell them about it?

I didn't realise until my dad died that you have to pay a GP to pronounce someone dead.

Right, bed time for me. If I don't wake up in the morning I won't have to worry about this anymore

Personally, I got enough to cover for potential funeral costs. You may want more if you have a significant other.

Nope I haven't, I haven't got no one to look after when gone so no point me having it.

I'm basically on about having enough to pay for your own funeral rather than the state or dependants having to pay for it. I guess you won't need insurance if you have enough savings but I don't.

I don't have life insurance either but really should get some as it wouldn't be fair if anything happened to me to expect others to pay ...

No I haven't. After I die I'd ideally want to be either tossed into a skip 'round the back of Tesco or have my ashes scattered on the shop floor of my local kebab shop.

I reckon JustEat will pay for your funeral since it's probably them who are going to kill you

The way I drive, I probably should have but I don't.

HOWEVER, I think my driving insurance covers my death to about 100k (I also have loss of limb coverage to about 50k... tempting).

I've got a hacksaw here. Arm or leg?

Does life insurance pay out on unexpected deaths where "there are no suspicious circumstances" and "the police are not looking for anyone else in connection" with the sudden death?

My dad wants tossing on a skip

I agree with the kebab shop Bo, except for me it'd be a diet coke factory

Hmmmmm well as tempting as it sounds... a hacksaw seems an unlikely way to fool my driving insurers (unless I get rammed by a lorry carrying DIY tools). I'll pass for now thanks

^^ I wouldn't mind the skip treatment

Preferably my ashes would be put into the ingredients of the pizza it is made with. I don't think they'll allow that though.
