I'm basically on about having enough to pay for your own funeral rather than the state or dependants having to pay for it. I guess you won't need insurance if you have enough savings but I don't.

No I haven't. After I die I'd ideally want to be either tossed into a skip 'round the back of Tesco or have my ashes scattered on the shop floor of my local kebab shop.

The way I drive, I probably should have but I don't.

HOWEVER, I think my driving insurance covers my death to about 100k (I also have loss of limb coverage to about 50k... tempting).

Does life insurance pay out on unexpected deaths where "there are no suspicious circumstances" and "the police are not looking for anyone else in connection" with the sudden death?

Hmmmmm well as tempting as it sounds... a hacksaw seems an unlikely way to fool my driving insurers (unless I get rammed by a lorry carrying DIY tools). I'll pass for now thanks

I wouldn't mind the skip treatment

Preferably my ashes would be put into the ingredients of the pizza it is made with. I don't think they'll allow that though.
