Default Success and Failure

I am a soldier and a financier! I have also been chosen to teach English for a week in Spain.

I can say now I am progressing despite living in Nowheresville. I have been rejected for jobs many times and am going self employed as a financier dealing in gilts. I have also joined a volunteer army reservist where I can still learn new skills like horseriding and lifesaving; despite failing to make the RAF reserve.

I work in a Credit Union now, which is a bank basically. I do much work here though it is not appreciated by people outside the industry.

It doesn't matter if you failed to make the RAF reserves, it's their problem they didn't choose you, try not to look at it like a personal failure. When one door closes, another opens... Sounds like you have good things lined up for the future, have fun in Spain!

Sounds like you are being very active in different areas, very well done!

Never mind the RAF. Keep remembering: You're not a failure because they refused you, you're a success because you tried! The same goes for jobs you applied for. Everyone gets rejected by employers now and then. Try and focus on all the good things you have achieved, they are many and you have every reason to be proud of yourself.
