I didn't stick to my chair. I think it has a lot to do with suggestibility though and the hype surrounding the 'event'. Did anyone else notice those flashing images on the screen though?

I thought i'd put the effort in. I was open-minded, but no. This is the last time, Mr.Brown. 1 less viewer for you. Last week was a load of balls and I wouldn't stay seated for this weeks charade.(HAhahahahohoohaahaaarha.....).

Is there any evidence that there was any real person in the country that this actually worked on? Plus he could have had a load of stooges in the studio. We'd have know way of knowing either way.

Anyone know what the subliminal images were at different points during the programme? There was one just before he started the experiment.

I've watched alot of his shows and many of them do amaze me so I was very excited about this, had butterfly's in my stomachs to try it lol.
As much as I wanted to be stuck in my chair and I really tried to loose myself in it I just stood up without any resistance or anything.

Same here. My back felt a little bit heavy but that was it. Then again I did start laughing half way through the video because me, my mum, dad and sister were sat there so still and silent, which never happens. Just cracked me up so I think that broke my attention.
I really wanted to get stuck though
As much as I love Derren, I think these last two shows are maybe a bit too adventurous. I mean even if he DID manage to do it, very few people will believe him anyway, so...

I was exactly the same, I always get right into things like this, but they always end in a proper anticlimax. I never learn.

I began to feel so strange and uncomfortable that I looked away from the screen to make it stop . Wish I hadn't now but it was kind of a reflex thing.

Didn't work for me and i recorded it and played it back to see what the subliminal image was that kept flashing up on the screen through the show it was a bloke tied to a chair that they kept flashing up, pretty basic subliminal message.

this was the pic that he had flashing up in the ads for the show and during it.-
