I hope you manage to go outside wearing your hoody, I prefer to wait until the neighbours are out of sight.

Wondering what to do with myself. Went to counselling the s'morning and then decided to go walking. Had thought about going on to the downs but as I had no proper walking guide with me opted for walking from one of the nearby villages to Nutborne and back via public footpaths. Being out in the countryside really does lift my mood enormously. I'm back home tho as it's clouded over here now and wondering what might hold my attention

Haha, nothing wrong with dirt!

Did you look at the Gaiwan range of rooibos? Here, have a look at baked apple, that'll get your attention! It looks complex, think i might add it to the list!

Holland and Barrett's have a box of 20 on sale for £1.12.
Might be worth giving that one a try because they usually have decent quality products.

I was trying to remember the taste to describe it to you! It's been so long since I had it though! I remember it taking a little while for me to get used to it. Then before I knew it I preferred it to normal tea. I drank it with milk though.

I saw one called Autumn Punch which looks rather delish and it's not as expensive as the others so I'll give that one a go. I'll likely also try one of the supermarket ones too because I suspect my tastebuds aren't as refined and fancy as yours!
You do get a fair bit for your money - i only use two tsp per pot and i reuse that adding a further tsp for the next pot (and so on). Buy the smallest amount cos you don't want to get stuck with something you aren't keen on - i'm drinking 'Turkish honey' atm and it's good but i'm getting impatient to try the next thing. I will say (again) that this stuff knocks the socks off anything the supermarkets do!

Well spotted, that's really good value - 12p more gets you the honey version.

Don't bother with the Tetleys Red Bush it's pathetic, I have found that The Redbush Tea Company is the best one from the supermarkets.

Is that the one that comes in a red box? If so, that one was particularly nice although I've gone back to drinking good old PG tips. If I cut out caffeine altogether I'd be even more in a (prescribed) drug addled stupor than I already am

I tried Yorkshire Biscuit tea recently after I think Biscuit mentioned it on here once or was that my imagination because she's a 'Biscuit' of sorts
Anyway, the jury's still out on that one. It's not unpleasant but I'd much rather have a 'normal' cuppa and a 'normal' rich tea biscuit to go with it.

I'm filming a happy birthday message for someone which may prove to be the most embarrassing thing I've ever done, it's sort of turned into a rap. I've never shown any promise in the rap arena, or even attempted it before. What the hell am I doing?

Just finished watching Lorena on amazon prime. Was more interesting than I would have thought. I didn't realise the whole John Bobbitt story was quite so involved.

Yes, something like that - it's hard to describe really

Damn moggy, she's more trouble than she's worth. No good deed goes unpunished though, I guess
It's horrible when there's something wrong with them as they become like our children and yet, unlike humans, they can't tell us how uncomfortable they are feeling or if they are in pain.

I hope the Vet can get to the bottom of your cats breathing problems and if not completely cure it, at least offer treatment to stabilise the symptoms.

Years and years ago, we had a rescue cat that developed breathing problems but I think it was to do with her breed (slightly flattened face). I vaguely remember she had some other problems too (perhaps to do with her heart) and she was put on steroids which of course isn't ideal in itself but even back then when treatment was less advanced she went on to reach middle age.

But, yes they are a never ending worry

I'm sure she will be okay Kooky Monster x

You're right though, it's awful feeling so helpless when they're ill. I hope all your moggies are currently happy and well
I'm so glad the Vet was able to give your cat something to normalise her breathing. It must be such a relief for you as I'm sure she must be feeling much more comfortable now. Do you administer the pills yourself? If so, she is far better than ours. We rarely survive without getting scratched and bitten.

Mine are all currently happy and well, thanks. I suspect they enjoy more treats and luxuries than your average human being

I'm about to make myself a mug of hot chocolate (made with water not milk so not as nice but lower in fat)

I'm currently sat in the garden in the sunshine, doing some work. Well, I was until my cat jumped on my paperwork and has claimed my mouse. She paws me when I try to get it. Not sure if "My cat sat on it" constitutes as a valid excuse for not having my work done.

Yep, the hot chocolate with water was indeed horrid, especially as I couldn't get rid of the powdery lumps no matter how much I stirred. Actually a bit miffed as I went out of my way to purchase this from M&S after a recommendation. Obviously this person has crap taste when it comes to hot chocolate drinks.
Incidentally, I had the best hot chocolate drink ever out of a machine yesterday while waiting to see my Doctor. It was free too! Unfortunately the appointment with the Doc wasn't

Colder wet weather on the way apparently so I think it may be a while until you and puss work out together in the sunshine again.

Well its on in the background now anyway! People have been electrocuted by their phones and gone mad!
