If she ever wanted me then things would have worked out, she wouldn't have been so fickle, wouldn't have cancelled or rearranged every plan we ever made and wouldn't have abandoned me when I needed her the most. I looked passed all that and chose to only believe her words, because they were all I had left and I needed them to be true. I don't know which feel feels worse - losing everything or realising that I never had anything.

Aw man 1985 is a difficult year to choose.
Why am I still drinking this coffee when it is clearly aggravating my headache? Glutton for misery.

^I'd go with Brazil, The Goonies or Mask. I'm sure you've prob seen The Goonies tonnes though.

^I'm looking at Back to the Future, Goonies, and Breakfast Club all of which I've seen at least 15 times each and can't decide, so I should probably go for a less obvious one. Cocoon was out that year too, that used to freak me out when I was a kid.

^Cocoon! Loved that. Sad in parts. Your choices are great. You should watch Mask though! It's been forgotten about. Made me cry man tears when I was little. Eric Stoltz and Cher. I'm sure it's still really good.

^Lol at man tears. I don't do films which make me cry. I cry enough already, if I cried at films aswel I'd dehydrate and shrivel up like a raisin. I'm considering Brazil though.

Ok I decided on Brazil but then typed in 1986... this is gonna require more coffee.

^Fair enough, if you do ever happen to shrivel up raisin like, I hope it's one of those cool singing Californian raisins from the 80's. Brazil is a great choice Good luck with the rest.

Oooh...1986....Stand By Me......etc

Well there's a telephone call I wish I never taken. Going into work- again. Just got my ps2 to enjoy this evening and this phone call. Self Rule 1- never answer the phone!

This is how you feel when you progress, in my experience: you don't "feel" confident or more at ease - you just feel less of *everything else*. I've found lately that I've actually been thinking less even while doing more than ever. It's like, "Eh, I can get on with it."

All very strange and understatedly lovely
Brilliant stuff. You've come so far in the past couple of years, there's no telling what else you can do.

Inspired by hellotiger's film list, I may make a list of video games I haven't played each year since 1980.

^I don't know if the full list is archived but gog.com did a 'one game from each of the last 30 odd years' sale a while back if you need inspiration.

^

Nervous about my interview tomorrow. I refuse to wear a proper interview outfit for one taking place in a Costa Coffee, why we couldn't have it at the shop is beyond me. I'm going to wear skinny black slightly shiny jeans, a white and black stripe tshirt and a grey jersey blazer with plain black shoes. My boss sent me a text earlier wishing me luck which was nice. I have no idea what they are planning on asking me, most likely just how I plan on making the shop they never should have opened profitable, I know exactly what they want me to say so I'll go with that.
I'm kind of bummed out after watching A Streetcar Named Desire. It was like watching 2 likely possibilities for my future. Next is Singin in the Rain, that should perk me up a bit.

I'm such a bastard on Skyrim. I must have sold thousands of iron daggers to the blacksmith in Riften that I made from the ingots I stole from his workshop.

I married the woman from the shop in Riverwood. I robbed the shop and she sent some hitmen after me. We're still married though. True love conquers all.

^Cool. I haven't ever seen it, I can sing the song, but haven't ever seen the movie. I wish I had a neighbour who brought soup. I'm not even sure I know my neighbours names.
