That a region in France was a major drug trafficking centre in the 70's and basis for the book that became the movie The French Connection.

That an old school mate of mine lives in the area i deliver .... which was a bit of a fright seeing him, then him recognising me and then having to engage. It was an address i rarely, rarely deliver to but i found out he'd been there for two years! We didn't go into much, he seems to be doing okay, similar to how i knew him.... a bit heavier.

I would also try, but something tells me it won't be like Shea butter or Lindt chocolate. Although if it's anything like my wrist, then it''ll be more like a dusty library book. No idea why.

^
Reminds me of the time I bumped into a classmate of mine last year. I hadn't seen him since I was 16. I remember thinking at the time that he looks older. But on the way home, while looking at my reflection in the bus window, I realised I look older as well. I even considered giving up my seat for myself at one point. But then I thought better of it

I was also going to mention something about what I didn't know until recently. I even had it all planned on what I was going to say. Then I got distracted. But like the great Rutger Hauer once said, and which I can certainly relate to:

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain

Although I can't really relate to the whole attack ships on Orion thing. Or even the C-beams near Tannhäuser Gate. But definitely the "tears in rain part" is relatable I think. Or something like that.

Yeah, all in all it was quite a positive experience and i look forward to seeing him again cos, moments after, loads of 'i should've asked him about', etc. questions came to mind. It's been twenty years since i'd seen him last.... which blows my mind a bit.

What confuses me about belly button fluff is that, no matter what colour clothing I wear, the fluff is always either navy blue or grey.

Because of this, I theorise that the belly button actually discharges grey or navy blue fluffy matter. Look into it.

^ this is why cats cough up furballs but humans don't. We have a lint trap much like tumble-dryers do, which expels fluff through the navel. I'm expecting an Ig Nobel prize for my research any day now.

I know what you mean Spud. It's sometimes good to catch up with someone you haven't seen for a while. Although I had to censor my thoughts at one point. As I wanted to ask him if his joints are also creaking these days. Thank God for censorship

Well I could certainly try that suggestion biscuits, but I find my overall odour is at it's highest in the morning. Which could have devastating consequences for my sinuses. But I will try my best to achieve that when I feel braver in the future

That my mum is very good at cutting hair.

I picked up a clipper set from Amazon with graded guards because the sides of my hair were getting far too long for me to deal with and I decided anything is better than them continuing to bush outwards. I wasn't expecting an especially good cut, but I genuinely think she's done a better job than most hairdressers I've been to. There's more of a severe step than I'd usually have where the longer stuff on top meets the shaved bits at the side and back, but I think it looks pretty good. I still won't be tipping though.

The idea of vacuuming your head after a trim. Personally I'd prefer a hair dryer.

You've not heard of it because society isn't aware that hair clippings are something to be concerned about, just like no one knew about microplastics.

Think about it. Save the environment. Use a vacuum.

Yeah, and make it omnipresent. Great

I hope i never get the opportunity to say that!

Well, give it a go, it's really not that big a deal, although with longer hair it's gonna get sucked into the actual tube momentarily and.... that's probably not desired Honestly, i don't know how this sounds to y'all but the vacuum is right there anyway (because i'm clearing up the hair) and it takes no more than 60 seconds. Also, i'm not using the nozzle like i'm cleaning the floor - it's more at an angle so that i'm not using too much force.

I think he's probably one of the widest people I've seen,
Or Incredibly stocky, if you want to be PC about it.

Always seems like there's tons of pictures, murals and posters of him plastered about his country,
They're going to have a hell of a time changing all that,
Maybe that's why it takes so long to announce these people's demise,.....just to give the print shop and mural artists enough time to churn out some new ones in the meantime.

"Yeah,..we're not announcing his death until the paint & ink is ready"

60% of 20 = 12
