Yellowjackets. It's quite good, although sometimes I think I'm enjoying the scenery more than the actual show lol

Soldier

Just this minute watched the first episode. Documentary about British army recruits going through training. Very interesting. I'd love to do bayonet training.

Only Murders in the Building

The latest series has been a bit meh. It's lost the charm of the first two series.

the problem with streaming TV, you got to work to find something good. TV you just sit down and watch whatever. Streaming TV, a full scale search of the web to find something mentioned as worth watching.

Been watching Manifest on Netflix. Not bad. Although they don't have seasons 2&3. Other streaming sites do have those seasons, but I'm content in knowing that I can zoom over 26 missed episodes. And the fact that I've already used the free trials on the other streaming sites is purely coincidental. However, they do have season 4 on Netflix. For anyone who hasn't seen Manifest. It's like X Files has married Sherlock Holmes. Or something like that. After all, I'm no 1980s Barry Norman.

I was disappointed when I found out, Percy. Something about a licensing deal. I even sniffled a bit when I realised. Although Nowtv and Skygo have seasons 2&3. It's worth a watch. Depending on the price of your watch of course. I only have a Casio watch. Anyway,

Of course, Percy! I forgot that you have more DVDs than Blockbuster. The old references are the best! I've watched a few episodes of season 4 and I'm liking it so far.

Finished watching The Virtues. Oof. That last episode.

Really incredible acting. Stephen Graham's amazing, but Niamh Algar really stole the show too in parts.

The Virtues is great. I love Stephen Graham as an actor.

I'd forgot the Jimmy Saville thing is out this week. Steve Coogan's brave taking that on as role.

The Handmaid’s Tale (finally). Utterly in lust with Nick (ofcourse).

Big Brother (I’m on the fence whether I can ride this wave) but I do miss the live evictions of yester year (alongside missing my youth).

The Reckoning

First episode of the Saville drama. Very disturbing, Steve Coogan is outstanding as Saville.

I thought The Reckoning was OK, but, I dunno, the way you'd have victim's reported experiences scattered among scenes that were obviously made up for dramatic effect, felt uncomfortable. Even though I have no doubt that the assaults really happened, there was part of me that kept thinking 'Is that how things actually went, or are those details fictionalised too?' I guess that's an inherent problem with dramatisations, you have to stick the facts into a template of fiction, and you can't exactly have a sign saying THIS BIT LITERALLY HAPPENED and WE MADE THIS BIT UP.

I just watched a trailer on Amazon for 'Mr. Dressup'(?), a Canadian children's tv entertainer who ran for 30+ yrs. I was fully and completely expecting something sinister, a twist, a kiddie-fiddler type ... but no, it appears to be a joyful, wholesome watch for all.... which is rather bloody swell.
