Were you pushing a VW Beetle along a beach road and then you got your period?

Really, really sad today. I just want to get back to work so I can go back to pretending I have people in my life.

If there wasn't a small child depending on me I would be doing the same today, I know exactly how you feel

I'm going to force myself out for a walk on the beach, get on our wellies and woolies and blow some cobwebs away. I always find the chill air so refreshing and wind really energising. Maybe you could go for a wander somewhere too?

This makes me feel better,I have never really thought about time this way and it is very true! Today is no different to yesterday it just has a label really.

going for a walk on the beach in your wellies sounds like a brilliant plan for today ! Hope it does blow some of those cobwebs away

I'm feeling slightly hungover. Cooking roast chicken with fresh thyme, red onion, garlic and lemon. Hoping that picks me up.

Gonna go for a walk, have a bite to eat and then shower - that should put me in a better state of mind and physical being.

Ooooh, on the Eurostar? I went on it earlier in the year. Doesn't seem right going to a foreign country on a train

I had flu for 6 weeks years ago. The strain I had killed 20k people in the UK and I reckon that could easily kill me now, and can't imagine having it that bad again, especially at your age.

Serious flu is not to be ****ed with so if you haven't already, see your doc!

Thank you. I've been in bed for four days now, have been totally incapacitated by it.

No, been hoping it will clear up on its own eventually.

I'm just trying to ride it out which is probably a bad thing but I hate seeing the doctor.

I guess I should have had a Flu jab and it might not have happened. Oh well

Get well soon, Lee And yes, don't suffer needlessly. A 10 minute appointment with your GP might save you days/weeks of feeling crap.

Relatively happy. Dad's out till tomorrow. I've got the footie on, stuffing my face with chocolate. Got beers for tonight. I'll have a wank at some point, no doubt. Might have a soak in the bath later on..... simple pleasures

My uncle has Aspiration Pneumonia caused by his progressively worsening Parkinsons, causing him to have difficulty swallowing. So he's breathed in some food which had infected his lungs, giving him Pneumonia.

He woke up today not knowing where he was, having no recollection of the past three day's.

He's sat up in bed, eating ice cream and feeling better, and he's in no pain.

So the doctor was wrong and he's still here, and feeling better.
