Vegetarian Sausage rolls (surprisingly nice), oven chips and garlic mayo.
I have yet to taste any garlic mayo that's actually nice aside from Waitrose own brand. It's all I sometimes go into waitrose for, lol. Gorgeous stuff. Always mean to try some of the others like lemon mayo. |

Cheddar and jalapeno toasted sandwich. I shouldn't have made one, especially at this time of night, but the promise of one was the only way I could motivate myself to exercise earlier. It was on wholemeal bread, and aren't spicy things meant to get the metabolism going...?

^ It was actual proper exercise for once, I'll have you know.
Your jar of peanuts, ai? Plain roasted, honey roasted, salted or spiced? |

So all those times before you were just arsing about improperly????! Actually, i think that's probably the first time you've mentioned exercising, well, the first time i've noticed anyway. Good stuff
Roasted & Salted, in a jar, that i have 'recycled' - do you call that recycling? It originally had pickled orange in it. Kinda wish it still had, that was delicious. |

^^ Basically, yes. Funks - I do feel a bit better for doing it.
Roasted AND salted? That's my kind of jar o' nuts. I think a person in clogs and a hat they've knitted themselves would say that's upcycling. I've never had a pickled orange - the thought of having one fills me with citric horror. |

Hahaha, 'upcycling' then - whatever it means!
Trust me, you haven't lived until you've tried pickled orange on french toast! My Mum is a carer, and some of the old folk that she looks after have a bob or two, so she gets the odd xmas present. For a few years running now, one of her clients has bought her (among other things) this .. ... Doesn't look much, i certainly weren't expecting a lot, but it's sooooo good. Quite pricey at £12 a jar, but so worth it. Obviously you can try it with other things, french toast was my favourite though |

There's a tacky joke in there somewhere, but i'll leave it be
Rocket tastes peppery, as it says on packaging that i've read - and it does. Bacon stored under armpits is ... well, it just hasn't happened, surely. Jacket potatoes you're right on the money with, however - good taste, lady! |

Re: What are you eating right now? (2)
If roast potatoes turn you on, it must get really awkward round the table with your family for Xmas dinners!
"Young biscuits is doing her Harry Met Sally thing again, Mother Biscuits." "Aye, leave 'er be, Daddy Biscuits, she usually stops a'ter a few minutes." Maybe it was my mother's cooking what ruined them for me. Mind you, I still love chips in spite of the fact that the ones she used to make from scratch were always black on the outside and soggy in the middle... |
