Good Christmas shows/films on Netflix or Disney?
Hi folks just the other day I started subscribing to Disney Plus, perhaps just for the Christmas months or maybe for longer, and I also have Netflix too. Although I'll be on my own on Christmas Day, I do enjoy the season and Christmas radio stations online etc. I am getting a head start on Christmas viewing by watching the Scandi Netflix series "Home For Christmas" which I have heard such good things about. Can anyone else who enjoys this Christmas genre recommend me either a TV series or film that I can access either on Netflix or Disney Plus? Anything cosy and cute, for example romantic comedies or wholesome family films, those would be perfect. I am sure there's no shortage of stuff but I can never tell the good stuff just by the description, hence me seeking out recommendations.
Thanks in advance and happy holidays when they come! |

Have you seen Love Actually? That might fit your requirements for a Christmas film.

I haven't seen Love Actually, but it looks like the kind of thing I would enjoy. As examples of things I did enjoy, I liked The Holiday and also the seasonal parts of Bridget Jones's Diary.

I watched Scrooged on All4 last night. I don't think i've ever watched it fully before. I really enjoyed it and thought it was brilliant at times, though it hit close to home with the whole Dickens 'don't be a selfish **** all your life' thing. I read Bill Murray took his part after four years off after Ghostbusters! Glad he came back! I also had to check who played the 'ghost of xmas past' (lead singer of New York Dolls - i knew it! )
