Not sure it's much of an achievement but at peer mentoring course today we had to do this kind of information sheet on a mental illness, (PTSD) and then talk about it to everyone else briefly.

I've had to do presentations in the past for courses which I can't bear (I once did one with 1/2 shot of whisky to make me speak ). This wasn't as in depth as a presentation but my partner wouldn't do it, so I read it all and kind of paraphrased a bit here and there. It was surprisingly alright. Didn't start shaking and only a vague hint of blushing, still had a few palpitations but even so i'm chalking it up as not bad.

Left the house, despite trying very hard to talk myself out of it. Picked up some waterproof walking boots and kendal mint cake from Go Outdoors, which in theory should make going outside more appealing. We'll see though!

Went to a organised running group the morning. Based on the couch to 5k thingy.

Was nervous, but had a 20min drive to calm me down. Really enjoyed it. We did walking, running, walking, running etc.. managed it ok, tho it will step up and we have to do homework in the week. Chatted to a nice lady most of the run, so at least I didn't feel like Billy no mates.

Congrats. Exercise is great if you can get motivated and once you get into a routine, it becomes more enjoyable.

I went out for a walk this morning. I generally get very shaky and start feeling very apprehensive regarding leaving the house if I'm indoors for more than 2-3 days. As I have not left the house in 2 weeks, I was feeling pretty bad.

I'm going to make a daily schedule so I have some structure. Something like up at 7am, do my work, go for a walk, work on self development for an hour...or two, exercise/work out, do the rest of my work and off to be by 11pm (with lots of eating in between).

I'm also going to get some privacy film for my windows and open my curtains in the morning, as I currently have blackout blinds and curtains, which keeps me feeling nice and safe and snug, but I think it's good for my body to sense the daytime.
