it's the government's way of meeting their carbon emissions targets,
sponsor TV companies to put on complete bollocks in the expectation that people will turn off,. And thus save energy
they started with big brother, but that's backfired on them, and people are actually now tuning in to watch something originally designed to make them never want to watch tv again

I'm just coming to the end of the first series of Orange is... and can't make up my mind about it. Sometimes I think it's clever and original, but at other times I think it's just Coronation Street in an American women's prison with more lady parts and servicing. I'm finding the flashbacks in every single episode more than a little tiresome too, especially since they all play on the same theme, that it's not really the inmate's fault they're in there.

I also finished Better Call Saul last week and am mourning its loss.

^ I was exactly the same. I watched the first three episodes when it came out but wrote it off and only came back to it a few weeks ago. I think it is quite confusing initially, especially as you come to it expecting some familiarity and there isn't really any (like Saul isn't even called Saul), but it does all start to come together mid-series and gets pretty compelling from then on.

Not Safe for Work (Channel 4)

Desperately bleak, but really funny. Zawe Ashton (Vod from Fresh Meat) is an amazing actress. The Guardian calls it 'This Life, for a new generation'. It's better than that.

I'm ploughing through housework but in the background I have on 'Wonder Woman' . I remember it as a kid. It's just so wonderfully gloriously bad.
Also considering I'm heterosexual I'm well into Lynda Carter Esp in those enormous glasses.

*ok perhaps I really do need to get out more...
