Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Another case solved by inspector Laurel.
Haha no I've never even tried a cigarette in my life. At the weekend I lost my voice and had the sore throat from hell. Now it's rolled into my face and my sinuses. If only Jeremy Corbyn were here to rub some eucalyptus jam round my nostrils to give me some relief. Tomorrow I'm going to stay in bed. |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^Does eating raw onion help with your sinus pain? Wonder if it's similar to the sinus pain I get with hayfever. Organic strong white onions taste like crap but sometimes clears my sinus pain.

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^ I’ll give it a go! Although raw onion makes me burpy. Face massages help a little. I’m not sure why I’m so prone to sinus problems.

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Have you seen an ENT consultant, Biscuits?
You do seem to have far more infections than usual. Do you still have your adenoids? I had mine removed, along with my tonsils, as a child because I had so many infections. My cousin had hers removed as an adult. The upside of it for me, as I was eight, was that every time I drank it would come out of my nose, which was especially effective if I chose something lurid, green custard was an absolute winner (That doesn't last!) I hope you feel better soon x |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^ Same here! I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was quite little. I think I'm just prone to sinus colds. I seem to get a bout of it each year - I didn't expect it in July though! Nope never been to the doctor about it. I think I did once. Just one of those things, I think.
Thank you x |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
Do you think you should go back? Also, have you ever had your vitamin D levels checked? Mine have been low twice, and my children's have been low, even though we get outside a lot and aren't vegan.
Anywoo, that's enough motherly fussing, I'll shut up now, get well soon |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^ how do you go about getting a vitamin d check? I’m not sure if I’ll go back. Maybe if it happens again this year I’ll go back.
Aww I appreciate the caring, so don’t shut up haha. |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^ There is a website that's something to do with the NHS that tests your vitamin D levels think it's less than £30, I'll try and find it for you.

My GP tested my Vitamin D levels but maybe it's one of those depends-which-gp-you-have-what-day-of-the-week-it-is-what-mood-they're-in things

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
I had a blood test a year or two ago which showed that my vitamin D levels were low so the GP gave me a prescription for vitamin D, but according to an online vitamin D group I joined the amount was way too small so I ordered some of my own Vitamin D supplements and then when I had a routine blood test for something else it flagged up that my vitamin D levels were way too high and the GP told me to stop. I wish I could say that I felt better when I was taking them but I didn't feel any different. However, if I'm able to get outside into the sunshine I usually feel so much better mentally and physically. I should have been born in a sunnier country.

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^^ ah, gotcha. I saw a finger prick test kit in Tesco the other day but wasn't convinced on how legit it was!
^ sometimes I wonder if having a parent from a hot country means my body is expecting sunnier days? All we can do is ask for a prescription to spend each winter in the Canary Islands. It is the only sensible solution |

^Yes lanzerote which despite it's reputation seems quite a nice place we just avoid any of the touristy places where the British gammon congregate. Managed to get a last minute cheap villa with private pool.

^after years of camping in France and other various cheapskate holidays my gf eventually reached her limit with communal toilets/showers. Any mention of tents now and she finds us a bargain villa.

Marry rich, people. Marry rich. ^ snazzy. which dye did you use? i desperately want to buy a white T-shirt dress so I can tie dye it. |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
^ thank you! I've used beetroot for tie dye in the past that looks far more vibrant, so I'm gonna get some.
Yes, you now wield the power of the purple strap. Use it wisely. |

Re: What are you doing right now? (6)
I was just listening to Paul mckenna change your life in 7 days. I've been listening to it on and off since about 2008. That's a lot longer than 7 days, I hate to think how sh!t my life would be if I hadn't ever listened to it.
