Bulletproof - terribly written&acted mid 90s buddy comedy with adam sandler and damon wayans. 3/10

Powder - boring, also poorly written imo, mid 90s overly sappy drama. another 3/10 but gets an extra point for making me bawl like a baby during the ~precious moment~ so 4/10

i really need to find something good to watch

Videodrome - 6/10 I didn't think the storyline was that great but it has some pretty awesome scenes.

Lord of the Flies - 7/10 Always liked this, it's a brilliant study of society

only 6? I thought that was one of the best films Cronenberg ever made, which is saying something.

The Lives of Others - Very good German thriller set in East Germany in the 80's. Reminded me quite a bit of the recent adaptation of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. 8/10

Right at Your Door - Interesting premise that's unfortunately made tedious by some bad acting and characters I couldn't give a toss about 5/10

They Live, not as good as I thought, guessed it would be a bit like invasion of the body snatchers, but it was ..... odd, not as odd as Big trouble in Little China by a long shot though, kinda wished it would settle on one element instead of going around so many!

7/10

Next I shall watch Sand Sharks! OH GOD NO!

Just watched half of "King's Speech".
The guy who played the King was pretty good. He must have had SA that King due to his stutter. poor fella. Gorgeous wife in the film too. Wow!

7 out of 10.

Avatar 8/10

Great film, got me involved and had amazing animation. A couple of points removed because the story has basically been lifted from pocahontas, just without the catchy songs

^ I was watching it on channel 4. I actually enjoyed it more this time than the first watch. It's nonsense but I sort of went along with it more this time.

6/10

Son of Rambow - Enjoyable little British film about 2 kids making a film together. Manages to be sweet without being overly saccharin 6/10

I thought the same thing almost didnt watch it,and for that reason/misconception its one of if not the hardest show's to get someone to watch.

But once you do,and when you do give it a chance it just gets better and better, its got as many twists n turns as Prison Break lol.

I feel like a bit of a girl now but its really good.

The Woman in Black - Not sure Radcliffe with his age was the best choice for the main role, but I understand why they gave the part to him and judging by the success the film has had in this country it's definitely worked. Overall an enjoyable old school style haunted house film, some good atmosphere and jumpy moments. More horror films like this please, getting bored of gorefests! 7/10

I really wanna watch that.

The Chaser - 7/10. Korean film about an ex detective - turned pimp tracking down a brutal murderer. Great cinematography and good script, the Koreans are great at these kind of films imo.
