A bit fed up with it all - there's too many things not to be depressed about, and i don't know how to help myself.

My private GI appointment is in 1hr30

Part of me is glad that I've queue jumped instead of waiting till end of May but most of me is shaking like a leaf, I haven't actually got anything diagnosed yet, this is a chat and working out what scans and whatnot I may need.

God I've paid enough for this, I need to get my moneys worth but I can see I'm just going to be sitting there freaking out

^ I've been in there a few times and I've never once even considered buying anything. It's not even because of the prices, you spend 5 minutes in there and you feel like you've absorbed a bellyful through osmosis.

@ Spud.. I’ve got your feels too. It’s like you can have 10 minutes of laughter, jokey happiness then you remember everything has still gone to shit. Hope you’re alright fella :]
Thanks

I did exactly what I thought I would, had a 20min chat, shook the guys hand, left the room..left the building..THEN remembered about 200 different things I Wanted to say

Still no further, been told I can have a procedure on the NHS and wait 8 weeks..or have it privately next week for 2 grand (involving a camera going where cameras should not!) Though he didn't really seem like there was any rush...doesnt particularly help me that I've been feeling like cack since january..

Sad

Also scared. Saw my GP yesterday about a sore throat that I’ve had for about 2 months. After a quick look in my mouth she said it could be a fungal infection so gave me some medicine. If that doesn’t get rid of the sore throat she wants me to go back so she can arrange for me to have an endoscopy (camera down the throat) at the hospital. The prospect of that absolutely terrifies me. I know I have the habit of always thinking the very worse but when I told a relative about my worries it was ‘Ohh you’ve always got cancer’ in a dismissive rolling of the eyeballs kind of way. On my gravestone I’m gonna have ‘I told you I was ill!’ and feel SO smug about it - accept I won’t get that chance because I’ll be dead

Ganishing, tumiferous, mectic, spackled and burnished with wine, sprayed from the king of pop's can of pop, clad in andromeda, wrapped in spiral arms, and pressed in on all sides by uranus, 3-headed, sore-footed, optically enhanced and aesthetically challenged, suffering from seasonal indigestion due to eating the stuffing of legend, wheateorite intolerant and meat indolent, and most of all, daring, like evel knievel - i dare to believel that in fact YES! MY BUM DOES LOOK BIG IN THIS

^^thanks Kooky
I wish I had the mental capability to actually get into something and take a real interest and enthusiasm in it instead of drifting between ideas with a kind of "meh whatever" response to everything. I'm just not excitable these days, even hurtling down a black ski run with an unexploded grenade in each pocket would probably leave me thinking "well that kept me slightly distracted for a while, better find something else to do now to stop the onset of terminal boredom"

either anxiety is causing me flu like symptoms, my illness is causing flu like symptoms ..or I've managed to get the flu in what I would describe as being..the hottest day this town has had in about 6 months. I continue to feel shit in new and wonderful ways.

If it was altered carbon I'd be getting a new sleeve asap

I feel like I subconsciously push people away which further fuels my belief that no one likes me, which makes me push people away even more. It's a happy cycle.

I tend to push people away too. I think I do it to avoid rejection.
