^Is that the one where the punk chick gets naked in a graveyard? Or was that part 2? That's the only think I can recall about return of the living dead.

Tales of the night - 3.5/10
French animation. Poor Writing, bad CG disguised only by the films hook of only showing moving figures in silhouette. Some awkward attempts at african/carribean accents that cane across as a tynsy bit racist. (props to the english dub team for that) The only thing I dug was the hand painted backgrounds.

Ye thats the one

Linnea Quigley, she went on to become a bit of a cult scream queen doing various b movies horrors in the 80s and 90s, I remember that scene though because she didn't look attractive at all, then she just ripps all her clothes off an wow!

Just watched:

Everything Must Go

I really liked it. The last moment brought a tear to my eye. Will Ferrell was really good in this. He should do more films like this. Low budget (ish) indie film for those interested.

I don't even wanna see Cop Out

I love Mallrats, Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma. Red State wasn't bad either, little bit different to his other films

Zack and Miri Make a Porno was pretty awful too.

I watched Thirst some time over the weekend I enjoyed it so I'd give it about a 7/10.
A couple of times I got completely lost. Like, wait what's happening now? The charcters seem to completely change throughout, even fundimental things like their morality and beliefs, it made it hard to follow because the change was so sudden.
Anyway I like vampire films and I liked this take. I like the director even more. I'd watch it again.

This clip sums up the high levels of genius involved in part 2

Mama 7/10 - quite good, very creepy

Tucker and Dale Vs Evil 7/10 - good idea and pretty well executed

Frozen 4/10 - (3 teens get stuck on a ski lift) another nice idea but didn't quite work

Take Me Home
Typical indie film. Nice enough if a little predictable. Worth a watch. 6/10

Lars and the Real Girl
Third time watching this. Really like it. Very sweet film. Ryan Gosling kinda playing against type here. I'm sure a lot of people here could relate to this guy at least a little. Very good! 8/10

The House at the End of the Street - I'll say 7/10

I seem to remember people saying a lot of bad things about this after seeing it at the cinema but I feel they were exaggerating. Was decent imo, would probably watch it again. Though the name suggests it wants to be a horror (or I get that impression because of Last House on the Left and The House on Sorority Row), it's actually more of a thriller.

The Go-Getter Nice little indie film. It's about a boy travelling across America to find his older brother to let him know that their mum had died. Sweet and kept my attention. Nothing really I haven't seen before but I liked it. Some nice moments. 7/10

One of my absolute favourite films. The location for The Slaughtered Lamb is not ever so far from where I live, I keep meaning to go there one day.

I just finished watching 5 films that i had gotten halfway through and had found too depressing to continue watching at the time, even though some of them are comedies.

Withnail and I
- Way funnier than I remembered it being. 'Give me a valium, i'm getting the fear'- story of my life. 9/10
Argo- I thought it was tonally very similar to Munich, which i love. Maybe it was just me but i felt it lacked the sort of tautness you would expect from such a story. I liked it though. 8/10
Les Miserables- If my dear old father could have seen me sat there watching Les Miserables as the tears streamed down my cheeks it would have been back in the coal shed for me, with only the spiders for company and a horseshit sandwich for my supper. Who was that girl singing in the rain? 8/10
Step Brothers- Ok for something to put on in the background and not pay too much attention to. Ferrell was ok for a few laughs. 'You're wearing tuxedoes to a job interview that requires you to clean toilets.' 4/10
Ironclad- did exactly what you'd expect from a low budget British historical film. Formulaic as ****, other than Purefoy's huge sword there was nothing of note about it. I sorta liked it though. 5/10

Still halfway through a few more.

Zero Dark Thirty - 10/10

cold script, cool unsentimental eye of Bigelow
performances aside - the story and the naked TRUTH about US military actions
That it had any support by the CIA
That it was even shown in America
Intense all over!

Again, I thought it was way overrated. I'm not saying its a bad film, but winning an Oscar for best film? Really?

Cool. I'm sure that location was included in some sort of tour once. You should go, take some pics and post them here.

^I've just been looking at it and sadly the location is too awkward and too out of the way to get to. It's a bit too far to go just so i can pose for a handful of photos of myself looking surprised while pointing at things i recognise from the film. Besides i ain't got no one to hold me camera for me and i can't very well go around posing like a knobhead while passing strangers take my photo for me.

Both great films If you'd like to see a clever zombie comedy horror, Wasting Away is a gem.

I watched 7 Psychopaths recently and thought it was great too - it falters a little toward the end, but overall is a very good film. Sam Rockwell is a star
