Default Newbie - friends anyone?

hi my name is katie, i wont bore you too much but basically i got SA from school, my group of friends manipulated me n wouldnt tlk to me etc for 2 years! i was trapped now im at college, its hard just to get over it.

if anyone wants to chat, i genuienly dont have any friends anymore, is anyone else in the same boat, as i feel it is a vicous circle as its hard to make friends with sa but also knowing you have no friends anyway.

Hiya Katie, I'm new too! My name's Clare

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you, that's awful!

I was bullied at my Primary school by people who I had been "best" friends with since we were 3 so I can empathise with you, kind of.
I have to agree with you! I was bullied when I was in year 5 and I'm in my last year of High School now (Year 11) and what they did to me still affects me badly, more so now actually.

However, unlike yourself I am lucky enough to have a group of friends at school who are great but none of them suffer from SA or understand my problems so it's nice to find a place where people understand what you're going through/ coming from.

Sorry about the long message but I hope we can be friends?

i just feel isolated from the world now, so it would be good to get people to chat to who understand, its not like at college or outside i can just say oh by the way i dont have friends etc, but im preety sure my body language gives it away.

Hi Katie and Clare

I can relate to bullying at school bringing on the SA. It happened to me as well and I ended up having only one or two friends. It certainly is a vicious cycle and without the support, it makes you feel even worse about things. Something that's not really ever changed.

There's good people here and hopefully it'll help both of you
